Congratulations to Alex for the player of the week spot this week. Alex played a fantastic defensive game covering our goal and played some cool passes to other team players at their end. It was a good match all in all against a team one of whom dwarfed most our our guys. I think that their coach was a very 'serious' coach - possibly though he was coaching the Socceroos. Well done again kids - you all played very well.

C ongratulations Ebony, this weeks player of the week. Todays game was very physical and Ebony showed how she was still prepared to get stuck into the pack - see the pics. Well done Harrison for the goal. Well done to all of you for demonstrating how well you are playing as a team. There was a lot of goal covering and good passing - you kids played very well together. Lets continue the good work. |

This weeks player of the week is Jayden. Jayden demonstrated some first class kicking and chasing down of the ball (see gallery). This was the teams first wet match and I got to wash the shirts. Curiously they seem to be a tad dirtier than immediately after the match (also see gallery). Harrison and one of the opposition attempted to share the same head space but that was the only injury this week.
We may not have won but I think the kids did really well and, for the most part, enjoyed playing in the rain - good on ya kids |

Firstly, congratulations to you all you all played fantastically and both coach Gerard and myself commented on this as did the other mums and dads and other fans - you should all feel very proud of yourselves.
Secondly congratulations to Andre, this weeks player of the week. Andre demonstrated some 'super fast' legwork on a few occasions chasing the ball into the other team's half.
If there were a bravery award it would go to Ebony and Owen who, respectively, copped a ball to the chest and the head and still came back to play more - well done guys, good spirit.
